Think about the way people actually travel today. A couple spends the day exploring Kavala before returning in the evening. A photographer leaves multiple camera batteries charging while visiting the Old Town. A digital nomad heads to a café with one laptop while another device remains connected in the apartment. A family spends the afternoon at Ammolofoi Beach and wants to return to a comfortable indoor temperature rather than waiting thirty minutes for the apartment to cool down again. None of these situations are unusual. They are completely normal behaviours that modern travellers expect to accommodate without giving them a second thought.
The reality is that guests don’t choose an Airbnb because they want to manage energy consumption. They choose it because they want to feel at home. Home is where your phone charges while you’re away. Home is where you can leave the air conditioning running for a while if you know you’ll return to a hot afternoon. Home is where comfort comes before rules.
